Sploinkers is a Sprunki mod that feels… out of sync from the first glance. Everything looks distorted in a humorous way: expressionless faces, bulging eyes, silly expressions, but not entirely harmless. It looks funny at first, but the longer you play, the more you'll notice something is subtly off in the layers of sound.

The interesting thing is that this mod uses many familiar FL Studio-style sounds, creating a feeling that is both familiar and like an impromptu remix. Overall, it's a simple musical playground, but hidden beneath it are moments of minor glitches and a slightly spacey vibe, sometimes shifting to a gloomy one without warning.

How to Play Sploinkers

The game retains the familiar gameplay of Sprunki: drag and drop characters onto the stage to create music. Each character represents a separate layer of sound, from beat and melody to background effects.

As more characters are added, the sounds begin to layer on top of each other. Initially, the beats were quite simple, but as more elements were added, the music gradually transformed into a kind of chaotic orchestra that was surprisingly catchy.

Some characters couldn't be turned off or had strange effects when combined. At times the sound became distorted, at other times it shifted completely to a dark tone. Trial and error and discovery is the most enjoyable part of this mod.

Sploinkers Features

Sploinkers stands out thanks to its extremely derpy character design, with details like bulging eyes, lifeless faces, or strangely stretched expressions. Some characters have very soft and rubbery animations, creating a lively but somewhat unstable feel.

The sound is noteworthy, transitioning from cheerful melodies to empty, even chilling atmospheres. There are moments where the entire track feels spacey, as if you've slipped from reality into another version of it.
Additionally, there are bonus characters, offering distinctly different sounds, along with unexpected visual changes such as face loss, distortion, or environment color changes.

Sploinkers starts off light and slightly silly, then gradually transitions to a strange, hard-to-describe feeling. If you enjoy mods that offer both relaxing music and a bit of off-key exploration, this is a worthwhile experience. It's not overly complex, but enough to make you wonder… did you just create a piece of music, or did you just unlock something you shouldn't have touched?
