From the outset, the game impresses with a complete cutscene, opening the scene in a laboratory where a mysterious package inadvertently triggers a chain of catastrophic events.
From that moment, the world is no longer the same. Characters begin to become infected, transform, and are forced to fight or flee to survive.
The core gameplay remains drag-and-dropping characters to create layers of sound. However, in this version, the music is more intense, with a strong rhythm and a distinct sense of tension. When combining characters, you not only hear the melody but also feel the spreading chaos.
Unlike many other mods, Phase 3 begins with a specific story. You witness Clucker being infected, Garnold having to make a choice, and the appearance of other characters in new roles. What happens next is not just a change in appearance, but a direct consequence of the initial events.
Each character now bears the distinct mark of the infection. Some are severely injured but still fight, others are completely transformed, even losing control. Some characters, like Tunner or Gno, clearly demonstrate their warrior role, while others are gradually being overwhelmed by the crimson.
