The characters are redesigned with more detail, different expressions, and sometimes a slightly unusual look compared to the original. However, the gameplay retains the spirit of the Sprunki series: creating music by combining characters on screen. Some characters look more cheerful, but their sound is heavy and dark. Some characters look normal, but their sound is distorted.
The mechanism remains the same: drag characters onto the stage to create music. But because the sound has been swapped, you can't predict whether it will harmonize or ruin the mix. Some combos look reasonable but sound completely out of sync.
One easily overlooked detail is that animation is no longer just for aesthetics. Some characters have slightly jerky movements, irregular loops, or imperfect loops, and this directly matches their sounds. The rhythm can be guessed from the animation.

Some characters have out-of-sync expressions, asynchronous eye movements, or loop animations that are half a beat late—all perfectly synchronized with the beat.
