Lord Verity: Kick the Buddy is a sandbox game where you can experiment with different objects, weapons, blocks, and characters in a playful environment. Meet Lord Verity, your personal helper friend, then see what happens when you throw him around, drop objects on him, or unleash explosions. From Minecraft-inspired blocks and lava buckets to TNT, bows, and unusual potions, there are plenty of items to try. You can also explore different Verity variants and enjoy a surprising collection of food and drinks in a dedicated feeding section.
One of the first things you can experiment with is a whole bunch of Minecraft-style blocks and items. Just drop blocks such as cobblestone, sand, wood, slime blocks, and bedrock into the world and watch what they do with Lord Verity. Some will just bounce around, but some will produce more interesting results.
Lava is especially fun to mess around with. Lava is damaging to Verity (and has the side job of creating the occasional obsidian block when combined with water). There's a way you can fix up some of the damage, as you also can give him a golden apple, which will heal him.
If ordinary blocks are not exciting enough, try using weapons and explosive items. TNT can destroy surrounding blocks and even break through the underground area. You can use a bow, launch objects around, and experiment with different ways to interact with Verity.
Some interesting items include:
Lava and water buckets: Create damage and obsidian blocks.
TNT: Trigger large explosions and destroy blocks.
Bow and arrows: Experiment with projectile interactions.
Golden apple: Restore Verity's health.
Potions: Test unusual effects, including anti-gravity.
Jack-o'-lantern: Send characters bouncing around with physics-based interactions.
You can also move the camera around and view other areas (even underground). Try different object combinations to see what happens.
Falsity, Falsity SpongeBob, Lovey, Mega Verity, and others. It is a good way to vary characters and check out the content available, as some of the characters look weird or have special interactions.
Mega Verity is pretty interesting, given his huge size and durability. Try to test his resistance to damage with firearms and explosions and constant barrage. There are also smaller character pieces and other surprises to discover while exploring the environment.
Another activity lets you feed Verity and other characters a large selection of food and drinks. It feels like a full eating simulator, with different items appearing one after another. You can serve bread, milk, nachos, ramen, burgers, fries, cola, orange juice, pancakes, salad, carrots, cake, and more.
There are special animations for some foods and special feeding forks for others. For other foods, drinks, and nice surprises, just keep clicking next. There's even endless food for you to feed the characters until your heart's content.
