Sprunki 18-Shifted Pepper’s Take is a horror-themed Sprunki mod, but what sets it apart from others is that it doesn't just change every figure into identical horrifying forms. Instead, each character is changed by a particular condition or occurrence, such as sickness, mutation, radiation, blindness or rebirth.

Reading through the cast is like flipping through different versions of the same universe; some of the people are still alive and pretty normal, while others have been completely transformed.

The gameplay is the same as Sprunki mechanics, selecting your characters and adding them to the mix. Every character has its own sound and this changes the composition of the track.

Experimenting with Characters and Other Sounds

Sprunki 18-Shifted Pepper’s Take is not just a cosmetic update. Some characters have other sounds; thus, playing around with different choices can give you results that are different from the conventional mix. Orin makes for remarkable pairings with certain characters and Window provides a unique aural personality. Even an older version of Oax has a music style that reminds me of Bejewelled.

The game doesn't require players to follow a predefined progression. A lot of the pleasure is trying out characters and hearing the sounds they make and finding excellent combinations.

Character Design Exploration

All of them behave in a distinctive manner. Some have a "pink infection". Sky is related to mutation. Mr Sun is decay. Pepper appears with a radiation motif. Others are defined by states of rebirth, blindness or annihilation, or just by surviving. Players can explore the roster and discover various frightening designs, as well as the unique ways each character has been reimagined.
