Dancing Beat is a rhythm arcade game combining reflex and music, throwing you into a colorful world of melodic pathways. Here a small ball automatically rolls forward and players must tap with extreme accuracy to guide it through each turn, gap and rapid change of direction. The audio, visual effects and movement are so well blended together that the longer you play, the more you become caught up in the beat of the game.

In Dancing Beat the ball is always in motion, running across courses made of floating tiles. Your task is to look at the road in front of you and time your taps to shift the path of the ball, hop over gaps or stick to your track. The game doesn't require complicated control systems, a single tap is all it takes. Still, the action is quite intense, particularly in high speed stages.
Sections of the trail may seem broad and open, but they actually have very sharp, abrupt curves. One beat out of time with the music, and the ball will drop right into the abyss.
In some stages there are sequences with alternating gaps that come in quick succession, pushing players to tap with almost instinctual precision. The more you play, the more you will take in the rhythm, and eventually you will learn to control the ball by listening to the beat, not just watching the screen.
Dancing Beat is always fresh, with the continually changing scene preventing visual fatigue. Long play sessions are never stale. Some levels send you to sunny, brightly lit pastures with open, breezy paths; others drop you into an aquatic environment with deeper blue color schemes and different visual effects that can obstruct your field of vision.
Occasionally in the aquatic levels, manta rays or jellyfish drift across the screen. They don't directly threaten the player, but they do momentarily block off parts of the road, making it much harder to time your touches perfectly. For a lot of portions you have to memorize the layout of the course and estimate distances at the same time, in order to do your taps correctly.
The music in the game is electronic and rhythmic, never too frenetic but enough to keep a steady, continuous tempo going. Each individual planet has a unique soundscape, which means the overall ambiance varies dynamically as you traverse through the levels. With bright visual effects for the ball and bricks, plus an animated background, it’s a very impressive visual experience, particularly when playing with headphones. Several levels have speeds that rise up with the beat, providing a sensation of flow that is truly fulfilling and exhilarating.
Dancing Beat is a music game that provides a really engaging game-play experience by combining rhythm, reflexes and speed. The game is easy to get into, has some eye-popping visuals and good soundtrack, and probably most importantly, gives you a rising sense of resolve to exact revenge and conquer the level every time you slide off the course.
