Revive Dead Sprunkis is a game that blends puzzles, action, and bizarre minigames, where you don't kill enemies… but revive them. Players take on the role of a character tasked with traversing areas, searching for dead or infected Sprunkis, and then treating them using methods that are both familiar and… inexplicable.
From bandaging, applying ointment, and administering medicine… to stitching up skin, reattaching eyes, or even resetting an entire computer system — everything in the game feels unconventional, as if you're repairing creatures that shouldn't have existed in the first place.
The world in Revive Dead Sprunkis is no longer intact. Sprunkis appear in a destroyed, fragmented, or deformed state. Your mission is to find each individual, collect their remaining parts, and perform the resurrection process.
Some Sprunkis not only die but also become infected, leading to unpredictable transformations, loss of bodily control, and dangerous behavior. You must not only save them but also confront their own distortions directly in tense minigames.
Behind it all is Mr. Black, responsible for the infection. The final battle with him is not just a simple boss fight, but a necessary step to end the ongoing cycle of resurrection and destruction. When he is defeated, all Sprunkis are healed… at least superficially.
Revive Dead Sprunkis is not a traditional horror game. It has a novel concept: not killing, but reviving, but this process feels… far from humane.
