Beat Shooter is a very entertaining rhythm game with a shooting mechanic. Every picture feels like drumming on the rhythm; known tunes sound so much more lively and alive.
The addictiveness of the game lies in the synchronicity between sound and motion. Blocks fall in perfect rhythm to the beat, and gunfire punctuates the tune. Players are so immersed in the music they don’t even recognize it.

As soon as you launch the game, you’ll see a list of popular songs to choose from. The list features several familiar titles, such as:
The initial selection isn't huge, but as you play, you can unlock new songs using the coins earned after completing each level.
The gameplay in Beat Shooter is actually quite simple. Your job is to aim and shoot the blocks that fall from the top of the screen in time with the song.
It seems easy, but the speed increases very quickly as you go along. There are heavy rhythm periods where your hands hardly have a second to breathe. Miss too many shots and you will quickly experience the jarring sense of falling out of rhythm.
What I like about it is the gunshots aren’t rough or rough-sounding to the ears, but instead they’re meant to be incorporated into the musical track. So when you hit something, it feels so good every single time.
If you’ve been playing continuously and feel like you’ve lost your rhythm, switching to a different song can make it easier to get back into the groove. Beat Shooter feels like a lighthearted pastime, yet it is engaging enough to completely draw players in before they even realize it. If you enjoy the sensation of reacting to a rhythm while listening to music, this is the kind of game that makes it all too easy to sit down for a quick few minutes, only to end up hooked for the entire afternoon.
